Comfrey

A deep rooted, herbaceous perennial. Favorite orchard understory plant or single fruit tree companion. Cut the sandpapery leaves and lay them down for endless regenerating mulch around your favorite fruit tree, or let them grow and bloom purple flowers for a favored bumblebee forage. Also considered to be medicinal topically or internally.
